From the beautiful Trieste lighthouse, the Faro della Vittoria, there’s a fantastic view of the entire bay. The tower is free to visit, but it closes during the winter season and is only open on weekends in spring, so check the opening hours on their website before every visit. If you’re coming from downtown, you can take bus 6 and get off at viale Miramare 36, then walk up for 10 minutes toward Strada del Friuli, or you can take the Delfino Verde boat to the Barcola port and walk up to the lighthouse from there.
